Pay-As-You-Go

Pay-As-You-Go In LIA-Console, the pay-as-you-go billing model allows users to be charged based on the actual usage duration of resources. Billing can be calculated on a daily or monthly basis. The system pre-collects one billing increment as an advance fee, with monthly billing set to one month. Actual usage costs are settled and adjusted according to consumption within each billing cycle. This model provides greater flexibility and is well-suited for short-term or dynamically changing resource needs.

Use Cases The highly flexible pay-as-you-go pricing model is recommended in the following scenarios:

  • When your resource demand is random, unstable, or unpredictable

  • When you need to use resources for short-term purposes

Billing Increment In LIA-Console, the billing increment refers to the minimum time unit used for resource billing. The platform charges and settles based on this unit.

  • For daily-billed resources: The billing increment is 1 day. Even if usage is less than 24 hours, the billed duration will be a full day.

  • For monthly-billed resources: The billing increment is 1 month. Even if usage is less than one month, the billing will be for the entire month.

To ensure reasonable resource usage, the system pre-collects one billing increment as a fee upon resource creation. Subsequent billing is based on actual usage duration or cycles, with detailed costs itemized in the bill.

This model enhances billing transparency and ensures a clear cost basis from the start of resource usage.
