LIASAIL GLOBAL HONGKONG LIMITED and its affiliates (collectively, "LIASAIL") have formulated this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") to provide clarity to our customers and users regarding the responsible use of LIASAIL's networks, systems, services, websites, and products (collectively, the "Services"). By using LIASAIL's Services, customers and users agree to be bound by the terms of this AUP, which LIASAIL may revise from time to time.
LIASAIL's AUP applies to all its customers and users. Such users include (a) those who have access to portions of the Services without an account, and (b) those who pay a fee to subscribe to the Services.
LIASAIL reserves the right to suspend or terminate Services at its sole discretion, including but not limited to violations of any law or the terms and conditions of this AUP.
The following AUP describes certain activities, related to any website's content or operation, that LIASAIL deems inappropriate and are therefore prohibited. The examples listed herein are for guidance only. If you are unsure whether any intended use or activity is permitted, please contact LIASAIL at [LIASAIL Abuse Report Email].
Activities that LIASAIL deems inappropriate and constitute grounds for removal of offending material or termination of access to the Services include, but are not limited to:
Using the Services to sell any goods or services that are unlawful in the jurisdiction where the content is posted or received, or where the goods or services are delivered;
Using the Services to post any obscene, lewd, pornographic, nude, sexually explicit, excessively violent, harassing, or otherwise objectionable content;
Using the Services to harm or attempt to harm minors in any way, including, but not limited to, child pornography;
Using the Services to transmit (by email, uploading, posting, or otherwise) any materials that threaten or encourage bodily harm or destruction of property;
Using the Services to post content that asserts, promotes, or otherwise encourages violence against any government, organization, group, or individual, or provides instructions, information, or assistance in causing or carrying out such violence;
Using the Services to post any content that subjects LIASAIL, its employees, or owners to public contempt or ridicule, or in any way damages or impairs the reputation or goodwill of LIASAIL;
Using the Services to post content that infringes upon another's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights;
Failing to obtain all necessary permissions when using the Services to receive, upload, download, display, distribute, or execute programs or perform other works protected by intellectual property laws, including copyright and patent laws;
Removing or altering author attributions, copyright notices, or other copyright management information, except with the express written permission of the author or owner;
Adding, removing, or modifying identifying network header information in an effort to deceive or mislead;
Attempting to impersonate any person by using forged header information or other identifying information (the use of anonymous remailers or nicknames does not constitute impersonation);
Using the Services to make fraudulent offers to sell or buy products, items, or services, or to advance any type of financial fraud, such as "pyramid schemes," "Ponzi schemes," and "chain letters";
Using the Services in an infringing manner, including posting defamatory, slanderous, scandalous, threatening, harassing, or private information about individuals without their permission, or posting content likely to cause emotional distress;
Introducing viruses, worms, Trojan horses, malware, or other harmful code onto the Internet;
Using the Services to transmit any unsolicited commercial or unsolicited bulk email. Such violations will result in the immediate termination of the offending account;
Using the Services to engage in any activity that affects the ability of other people or systems to use the Services or the Internet (including "denial of service" attacks against other network hosts or individual users); or
Using the Services to access, disrupt, or test the security of any user authentication or any software or hardware without the express authorization of the owner.
LIASAIL assumes no responsibility for any website, email transmission, newsgroup, or other material created or accessible via the Services. LIASAIL has no obligation to monitor or exercise any editorial control over such materials but reserves the right to do so. If LIASAIL becomes aware that any such material may violate this AUP and/or expose LIASAIL to civil or criminal liability, LIASAIL reserves the right to block access to such material and to suspend or terminate any customer or user creating, storing, or disseminating such material. LIASAIL also reserves the right to cooperate with legal authorities and third parties in investigating alleged wrongdoing, including disclosing the identity of the customer or user whom LIASAIL deems responsible for the alleged wrongdoing
LIASAIL requests that anyone who believes there is a violation of this AUP direct the information to the Abuse Department at [LIASAIL Abuse Report Email]. Please provide the following information if possible:
The IP address used to commit the alleged violation;
The date and time of the alleged violation, including the time zone or offset from GMT;
Evidence of the alleged violation.
Law enforcement officers may contact LIASAIL directly at [LIASAIL Legal Email Address]. A badge and case number must be provided to receive a response. Impersonating a law enforcement officer is a crime.
LIASAIL may, at its sole discretion, revise this AUP without notice. Any such changes will be posted by LIASAIL on its website. Customers and users are responsible for reviewing the AUP periodically for any changes. Customers and users agree to be bound by all such changes.
